Last night was exceptional. Michele got in to the Pepsi center and saw a great line up. The center was live and electric. We got there early and I was able to get a much better seat on the floor. I was practically 40 feet from the podium.  I received several text and phone calls saying I saw you on CNN. It was so exciting me on CNN. But seeing me could not compare to what I was seeing and hopefully all of you saw on the podium.

I’ll have to fill in the details later, but Hillary was truly amazing again. In addition to her speech giving full support to Barack Obama; I really believe it was her input that insured the words, indeed the policy statement “We will increase funding at the National Institute of Health and the National Cancer Institute.”  That statement is in the Democratic Party’s Platform 2008. I thank her team, the Obama team and all the local platform meetings that added that policy statement.

After a terrific night on the floor we went to Invesco Field, where Barack will give his acceptance speech. We went for a party with New Jersey, New York, Florida and Pennsylvania. I thought it was kind of a strange grouping but what the heck the food was free!

Then over the loud speakers we here “Please give a warm welcome to, Hillary and Bill Clinton.”  It became clear the four states in attendance had given strong support to Senator Clinton in the primaries. 

It was truly exciting to hear them speak and tell us how important it is to get Barack in the White House.

I could not agree more.
